  • Paper recycling FAQ

We are all aware how much paper is discarded in today's society. Waste paper is generated from photocopying machines and from general printing errors, obsolete stationary, printer's waste and unwanted books and magazines to name but a few. Here at Karraway we try to stem the flow of this natural resource being discarded at landfill sites and offer a variety of schemes to help you set up a recycling program. We are one of the few companies who are prepared to collect small quantities of waste paper.

Waste paper is a raw material which is used in the manufacture of a wide variety of products. You may have seen some of these products available in the High Street. For example it is used to produce toilet tissues, hand towels and kitchen towels. However its primary use is in the manufacturing of packaging products and industrial strength materials. Cardboard boxes, corrugated board, and plasterboard, to name but a few benefits from the recycled fibers produced from waste paper.

To help you start a recycling scheme we can provide a variety of containers from sacks and recycling bins suitable for an office environment as well as cages and containers for outside storage. Additionally we will assist you in setting up a recycling program with on going support and advice.
